With the help of neighbors and friends, he still harvest the olives by hand every season
He is 63 and has been tending the land and the olive trees on his property for over 30 years
He prides himself with being the only olive producer in Bellegra that chooses a fully organic method of olive harvesting
Every season’s harvest he brings his freshly picked olives to the press in Bellegra to produce the fine oil that he will share with his community
He doesn’t monetarily profit from the oil but gives it to his friends and family. He believes the value in the olives is the connection to the land and the sharing of oil
